Hello, March is flying by. Spring is on its way! My website is pretty well set up now, just need to add some more artwork.
I love using color pencils and watercolors, however, Acrylics are not without their perks! I recently did a tri-canvas painting of the Brooklyn Bridge and it was a challenge. (it is pictured in the previous blog here.) Awesome, but my favorite way of using acrylics is in my crafts. Especially ROCKS! Everyone can get involved, my grandchildren love painting rocks. A tip for you; to get true color, paint the rock white where your image will be painted, as in these photos, they come out bright and with the right color.
Another craft I do is painting vases that have gotten cloudy from use, so that left only one thing to do, paint them!
Enjoy crafting everyone and enjoy Spring, get out there and paint some rocks and maybe leave them for others!!!!!
